Big Black Bows

A few weeks ago I decided the black burlap shower curtain had to go. As much as I loved it, the burlap had trouble drying out and was starting to look nasty.

So after alot of looking I found this tan shower curtain at Target.

 I had the added challenge of finding a way to hang it since my permanent shower rod is at a weird height. I didn't want to use the same jute strings I used on the black shower curtain. But lack of inspiration caused me to do it again anyways...

I didn't hate it, but definitely didn't love it either. It looked too monochromatic to me. So after a few weeks of thinking I decided I'd try a similar look with big black ribbon! 

Doesn't it look great? I absolutely love it! I think the black bows helps the curtain fit into the overall look of the bathroom much more.
